Escargot (cooked snails)


Escargot is a dish of cooked land snails in France (Oh my God). I had tried it once in a French restaurant before but then I never want to try it again because it is too gross. People said it tastes like mussels, claims, or oysters. However, it is absolutely not true. Their texture was rubbery, slimy, and slippery like uncooked squid. They cooked it with garlic butter and wine but I forgot how it actually tasted or what flavor did it have because I was too busy to spit the snail out of my month.
